ColocateUSA is located in the Colo4Dallas Data Center, a SAS 70 certified, 10-GIG, multi-layered secure, fault tolerant facility. 

The uptime guaranteed service level is assured by the data center’s following configuration:

Power Systems

Leibert UPS with 120, 208, 220VAC available; maintenance bypass; 2400 amps DC plant; 100 percent diesel generator backup with auto start and auto transfer switch; generator capacity equal to building utility service; A and B DC plants totally diverse; fuel capacity exceeds 24 hours; and a fuel delivery contract with a two-hour guarantee.

Environmental Controls

Constant ambient air temperature of 68 degrees (+/- 2 degrees); Liebert air; under-floor cooling; and humidity control via Liebert units.

Security and Access

24x7 onsite technicians; multiple layers of 24x7 security cameras, card readers, and key pads; access to equipment area 24x7 via card key and key pads; non-customers enter equipment area by escort only; all cabinets, cages, and suites are locking, with security upgrades available; and facilities are monitored with 24-hour recording and five-day video storage.

Fire Suppression Systems

Pre-action sprinkler rated for telecommunications equipment/computer room; and integrated smoke/heat detector system.

NETWORK

The ColocateUSA infrastructure comprises multiple carriers with diverse building entrances; fully redundant Cisco architecture using GSR 12008 and 7513 routers with 5500 series switches; hot-swappable redundant power fail-over protection; dual network feeds to each rack and larger customer; and 100 percent service level agreement.

The dedicated servers we offer customers are high-performance enterprise class systems from name brand manufacturers such as HP and Dell. They currently are equipped with Intel P4 and Xeon processors.
